to our home and our Provence!
In the heart of sunny Provence you find you find Montfort sur Argens, a village with a history dating back to
Romans and
Templars. The village has some 800 inhabitants. A Swedish couple has
built a villa here, with an annex for visitors.

Family operated farms and vineyards constitute the majority of businesses in the region.
There are also grocery stores in the town centre, a café, the restaurant Relais Des
Templiers, a baker's shop, a post office, a joiner's workshop, a sweets' shop, a
pottery, a coop wine shop, a castle where the Templars used to reside, tennis courts, and
of course a school, a boule ground, a pensioner's home and the mayor's office.You reach Montfort by Highway A8, exit at Brignoles some 120 kilometres West of
Nice. You pass Le Val and after another 10 kilometres you can see Montfort
on your left-hand side the Castle is clearly visible from the road ... |
