Levels of Play

"Wreckreational":

You are playing for fun! Back yard picnic type play; only safety rules are enforced. Players have few formal skills. The offensive plan is to get the ball over the net.

Organized:

Team may have played together before and players have league experience. Players are knowledgeable about volleyball and usually bump, set, and spike. Some use of offensive and defensive patterns. Some familiarity with USVBA rules.

Power:

High level of skill and experience. All players have solid knowledge of USVBA rules. Teams use offensive and defensive patterns. Competitive and fast play.
