My mother, Shirley Vechorik, my former shop apprentice, Ricky Padgett, my father-in-law, Howard Carpenter, and I celebrate the arrival of my R32. It was a running bike, but it had a lot of problems I had to fix.
I worked on the transmission and engine of this 1942 BMW R75 war machine.
One of my more-famous restorations hung on a wall in a bar/restaurant named "Cheers" Starkville, Mississippi. It's a very realistic R60 (made from junk parts). The rider is a real female human skeleton.
