Having Rich Szabo as a trumpet clinician /guest artist at your school is a rewarding and unforgettable experience for your band members.
You can have Rich Szabo for the day. As a guest soloist with your school jazz ensemble, he will rehearse with your band during the day, and perform with them at your evening concert. The arrangements that he plays will be sent to you in advance, and are yours to keep.
You can also have Rich Szabo and his Jazz Orchestra at your school. Rich and the band are a perfect fundraising vehicle for your band program. Your students will have the time of their lives promoting a concert and clinic with the Rich Szabo Orchestra.
During the Clinic the band will rehearse a new piece of music that YOUR band chooses. This way the students get a chance to see the process that a professional band goes through rehearsing a new piece of music.

Improvisation
Students are encouraged to participate by asking questions, answering questions, and sometimes even playing. Active participation is not mandatory, however, a student will get more out of the clinic by taking an active role.
