From Japan:

Kodo Veteran player, Eiichi Saito, presented a taiko workshop in Austin March 1 and 2, 2003. Two days, 2 sessions per day.

The participants came from Austin, Dallas, and Ft. Worth taiko groups. A wonderful time was has by all during the workshop

and at the extra social events. The lunch on Saturday was provided by Mieko Horne and her friends from the Japanese women's club.

The post-workshop party was held at the home of Martha and Bob Boyko. All 8 Austin Taiko members wish to thank everyone who

attended for their participation, and for helping make this workshop a highlight of our year.

February 15 2003 - Martha, Bob, Mieko demonstrated taiko to 60 Girl Scouts at AACC

February 22, 2003 - Bob and Martha demonstrated taiko to 150 Girl Scouts, Pond Springs Baptist Church

February 22, 2003 - Okinawa New Year's Party, Senior Activity Center, Lamar & 29th Street
