Great Little Trains of Wales
The Discount Card costs £10, which allows 20% off normal
return fares. Each card is valid for 12 months from the date it is first
used. Discounts have also been arranged at selected accommodation close to many
of the railways.

with an asterisk (*) are participating in the Freedom of Wales Flexi-Pass
scheme which allows unlimited travel by public transport throughout Wales, as well as free
or discounted admission to a number of tourist attractions).

Runs from the northern outskirts of Merthyr Tydfil to Dol-y-Gaer, overlooking Pontsticill

Rises through a vertical height of 600ft during its 11¾ mile journey between Aberystwyth
and Devil's Bridge. The terminus is adjacent to the mainline station at Aberystwyth.

The WHR has recently extended its narrow-gauge railway from Dinas to Rhyd Ddu, the latest
phase of a project which will extend 25 miles through the Snowdonia National Park between
Caernarfon and Porthmadog.
