Live @ The Blue Brass Pipe - November 1970

The BBP was a youth club in the basement of St. James Episcopal Church in Warrenton, VA. We played quite a few dances there.

L-R: Bryan Jacobs' bass headstock, Eddie, Begut Hoff, My right side.
For gearheads - pic one: L-R Eddie plays Darrell's 1969 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe Goldtop through a Bandmaster with a 2X12 cabinet.  I believe the cabinet underneath is Bryan's Bassman cabinet.  From the headstock, the bass Bryan is playing is either the Cortez or Lafayette (can't tell), through his Bassman and a 2X15 Montgomery Ward (Valco) cabinet.  I can't remember if it was Darrell's or Bryan's.  In back, Begut is playing his burgundy sparkle Ludwig kit with hand painted psychedelic head.  In front, is Darrell's Vox Berkley head and Bryan's 6X12 Silvertone cabinet we were using for PA.   I was playing Martin Ryder's Tele with Bigsby.

L-R: Begut Hoff, Debbie Batten (Darrell's girlfriend @ the time) next to Darrell's Farfisa organ.
L-R - Begut again and the Vox/Silvertone "PA".  My Montgomery Ward (Valco) amp/2X15 cabinet.   Darrell's Farfisa organ... I believe he was using his Alamo 1X15 combo this night.
