Scott May: Christmas Party at Jeffersonton Community Center 1994...Me, Jackie, Rob, Mitch and Eddie...our first show...songs that come to mind...The Letter, The Shape I'm In....Eddie Keys....then he got up and did Don't Let me Down, and Love Struck on Guitar.....there were alot of peeps playing that night...maybe Louie would like to expand on that..lol....also Howard dialed in the sound on the Firestone rig!

Scott May: See that Mountain Dew....it fell into that Korg that night...never was the same...had Joe Butler work on it....Gareth owns it now.

Scott May: On the above three pix, Howard said Eddie did a good job with us....we weren't too loud...so Howard could get a good mix........Eddie taught us about being in a band....seemed like he heard everything that was going on......he really did have alot of patience with us......that night we got alot of compliments......and the hook was set!!! One of my favorite Eddie quotes was., "Scott first of all... Bands are a pain in the ass... followed by an Eddie laugh!" It became a standard line when we talked about soap in either one of our projects!

Scott May: Rare photo of Eddie dancing...probably to a Louie Warren searing lead, Robert Rogers Vocal or a Tony Dunigun sax solo!

NOTE: After sometime Eddie moved on from the Underground to play with others... but he left us the skills and the lessons that we needed to form The Below Average White Band... which stayed together in some form or another for almost ten years....he made us all better musicians ...he sometimes would show up as a guest for our shows...or stop in for practices and took an intrest in our growth as a band and individual musicians....from time to time we would have magic jamm nights in the basement (Crockett Park Studio) ...fortunately...some of those tunes can still be heard(see audio..LOL).....when I slide down the basement stairs to play at nights...he's there with me going... noooooo not like that... that's right.... not too bad... do it again... picka picka picka... and then there's that laugh..... love ya Eddie!

Scott May: I loved this logo...it was so appropiate...Eddie (Mole) larger than life with us ants backing him up...my good friend Dave Thorpe( LeggHound) drew that up from my conception...it went on some of our cd covers (see audio)

Scott May: Yeah we and LeggHound played that weekend (two nights) at the Kurve...the inspiration for the song (Gonna Have a Ball Tonight) (see audio)
one of the last Jukes in Fauquier...sadly..it went up in flames...but we had some fun nights there ..one memory that night was Troy Dovel nearly wiping out the dance floor with his helicopter dance.. LMAO!
