A BOOK OF LEGENDS, compiled by LINDA IORIO
Linda Iorio, a long-time devoted fan of Stevie, found a great way to share
her devotion. Years ago, she gathered many photos, stories, paintings, etc.
and compiled them into 150 double-sided pages of what she would name "A Book
of Legends." 300 copies were printed in 1989, with some proceeds from the
sales going to City of Hope, Stevie's favourite charity. Linda also sent
Stevie a copy of the book for her birthday, and Ginny Kamano told her that
Stevie herself was very touched by this collection of love. The book, long
a collectors' item, is now available again in a photocopied edition. The
spiral bound reprint issue will feature the original cover, though (pictured
above) - made of a thick, gold paper with a beautiful cover drawing done
by talented artist, Heidi Wallace. If you are interested in obtaining a copy
of this book, please send $20 (money orders only) to Linda Iorio, P.O. Box
