What is WINGS? WINGS is a web support site for women who have suffered domestic abuse. You will notice a decidedly Christian flavor here and that's because, well, I'm a Christian woman and have found my faith to be of enormous importance on my journey to wholeness and healing from the ravages of domestic abuse. These pages are created and maintained by me, Ginny Hunt. I spent seven years in an abusive marriage and understand what it means to experience Post Traumatic Stress and depression as a direct result, as well as the continual stress of having to deal with one's abuser over the years following the end of the relationship. My story is here along with some articles and links that I hope will be useful and helpful. Abuse is insidious and so terribly damaging to one's soul and so I want to offer up some materials that might be able to help reclaim and restore those who are victims. |
