God Blessed Me With Three
Angels
God blessed me with three
angels
Jerry...Robbie...Jamie, were the names I gave to them
A prouder mother there could not be
The love in my heart when I first looked into their eyes
Was plain for the whole world to see.
I counted each little finger and each little toe.
Their father and I did our
best
To teach them and train them in the way they should go
We watched each little step as they continued to grow
Teaching numbers and letters and little songs too.
We took them to church to
learn about Jesus
Wanting them to have a good foundation in their lives
Not knowing then, just how soon our own faith
Would be put to a test.
Our home was filled with
love and with laughter
Games were played....
Little pictures drawn....
These are the memories, I have in my heart.
It is so hard to accept,
things we do not understand
I've asked myself
Why?....
So many times Why?
For the answers I seek, I get down on my knees.
One beautiful day we went
out for some fun
Not realizing that within hours
Two of my precious angels would be taken
From our lives and my arms forever.
While returning home.....Getting
so close
A tragic accident happened....
A car came across the center
line
They were taken from me so quickly
I never got to say "Good bye"
My heart cried out Why?
Why God?
They were so young, I only had them for such a short while
I loved them, they were just babies...My babies.
God, I hold to the memories
I have in my heart
I know you know best
I've prayed for strength and understanding
Please help me to accept.
I know my one angel that
you have left in my care
Needs me to be strong and to help guide him
I know too Lord, that sad day they were taken
From my arms, you received them into yours.
Could you please just tell
them for me
That daddy and mommie loves them, and Jerry too
To keep smiling because soon, very soon,
We will be coming to join them...and please
Can you give them a little kiss just from me?
Mommie

Dear Lord, Can you please
give Robbie and Jamie
a message from Mommie and
Daddy?
Please tell them "the
stairs they climbed to heaven,
that we will climb those
very same stairs
to see them again".
