In the wake of the defeat of the RFA in the House of Representatives,  the RFA has reappeared in the Senate, and with exactly the same wording that was voted down in the House.

The Sponsor is Senator Inhofe, Oklahoma

Why is this not surprising?

When I and others have decided on exactly how to present all of this, this site will be dedicated to getting you the information you need, either here, or by links.

The Fight is far from over.

Rep. Istook Loses

His Attack on Religious Freedom

The Religious Freedom Amendment

was defeated by a vote of 224 to 203 with 7 abstentions on June 4 1998

As you can see above, the fight has already started anew. Let's not let this one even get out of Committee. Call your senators NOW.

Thank you all for helping defeat the latest, but certainly not the last, attack on our freedoms by the Radical Right. Let us all remain vigilant so that it never gets this close again.
