Guy Shrine

A long time ago, I saw a young actor named Robert Addie in Excalibur, and couldn't take my eyes off him. Later I discovered him playing Sir Guy of Gisburne in the tv show "Robin of Sherwood" and was even more smitten. Many years later, I was able to meet him in person and discovered that I liked the person even more than the characters.

Then in November of 2003 we had the unhappy news that he had died of lung cancer. But, he'll live forever for us, in the roles that he played. (Especially Sir Guy, seen below, at least for me.)
