![]() Welcome to the Yeshiva! The Yeshiva is located in the heart of New England - Worcester, MA. The Yeshiva is a Jewish private school featuring Judaic and General studies. Classes run from Tiny Tots thru 8th grade, including a high school. The children are taught the full realm of Judaic and general studies through 3:30pm, and take part in many extracurricular activities including baseball games against nearby jewish schools. During the summer, Gan Israel Day Camp keeps the children busy having a good time. There is a daily minyan for shacharis, mincha, and maariv. After Shabbos davening, there is a kiddush in shul. Regularly scheduled learning classes take place for men and women at different homes throughout the community during the week, including learning between mincha and maariv in shul every day. A monthly shul newsletter is sent out to the community, with new publications coming out all the time. A block from shul is a full operating mikva, open daily with seperate mikvas for men and women. There are 2 kosher bakeries, and a 24-hour supermarket carrying a full line of kosher products, ranging from cholov yisroel milk and ice cream products, to glatt kosher meats, and everything in between. A newly opened bagel factory carries 20 flavors of fresh pas yirsroel bagels, with lox and cream cheese. The Yeshiva runs Chabad Torah Centers in other parts of Central Massachusetts as well. Chabad Centers now in Framingham and Westboro Massachusetts were established by the Yeshiva. Rabbi Yakov Lazaros runs the Chabad Center in Framingham, and Rabbi Michoel Green in Westboro. The Yeshiva runs many events throughout the year, including a spaghetti supper, lag b'omer bonfire / barbecue, chanuka and purim entertainment / dinners, an auction, model matzah bakery, shofar factory, sukkah parties, the public menorah lighting, and mivtzoim. It is literally impossible to detail the enormous efforts on behalf of the individual and collective in the greater Central Massachusetts area. The time has arrived to reveal the secret jewish treasure that we of Worcester and Central Massachusetts are fortunate in having in our midst. The question is, do you and I have a good share in this noble enterprise? Should we not provide the heroic leaders in our own backyard with resources that will enable them to continue their idealistic service for all of us?
