Description: Position in the Engine System Design Department. Duties consist of preparation of layouts and detail designs, for rocket engine components and preparation and development of system integration designs, while working on self-directed integrated product teams. Position requires disciplines normally associated with mechanical engineering such as machine design, fluid flow, materials, static structures, strength of materials, machining and other fabricaton methods. There will also be coordination with other technical specialties, manufacturing and outside suppliers to verify design adequacy and monitor hardware fabrication. Activities will also include document changes that affect engine system hardware.
