LIGHTHOUSE CHRISTIAN HOMESCHOOL ASSOCIATION INC.

      Lighthouse is an association of Christian homeschooling families in the Wake Forest - Youngsville, NC area. Our purpose is to offer encouragement and support to one another in our homeschooling endeavor; to provide opportunities for our children to participate in large and small group activities for academic, social, and character building purposes; and to share information about local, state, and national happenings of interest to home schooling families. Lighthouse strives to honor Christ in all its activities, programs, and events.

      Memberships forms for 2008-2009 must be received by September 2, 2008.

    • Monthly Parents Meeting
      The Monthly Parents Meeting is held on the 1st Tuesday night of
      every month,except July, from 7:00PM-9:00PM at Homelight Books
      in Wake Forest.

    • "Homeschool Basics" Discussion Group
      An informal discussion group to talk about topics helpful to new
      homeschoolers such as Curriculum Choices, learning styles, organization,
      and testing. This group is open to everyone and meets on the 2nd Saturday
      morning of the month from 10:00AM-12:00PM at Homelight Books.

    • "Homeschooling in High School" Discussion Group
      An informal discussion group on homeschooling in the high school years
      meets on the 1st Saturday morning of the month from 10:00AM-12:00PM at
      Homelight Books. This group is open to everyone and is faciliated by
      experienced homeschoolers from Lighthouse. This is a chance to ask
      questions, share ideas, and gain courage from one another!
