I have a weird hobby — I spend weeks each year hiking, backpacking and four-wheeling through the deserts and canyons of the Southwestern states looking for some of Nature’s grandest creations, its natural arches and bridges. I have been to over 300 of them in the last 15 years, and have put together one of the world’s biggest collections of photographs of natural arches and bridges. I have had my pictures and articles published by the National Cowboy Hall of Fame and Western Heritage Museum, and the Natural Arch and Bridge Society, and am in the process of putting together and publishing a large picture book.

Here are some of my articles and pictures.  The photographs here were all scanned off my slides, so when they are enlarged enough to be seen on a computer screen, they lose a bit in sharpness and detail.  But I think you will still be able to clearly see why I enjoy these beautiful creations of Nature so much.
