ELKHART/GOSHEN TRANSPORTATION
The Northern Indiana Railway, and various predecessor and successor companies, once operated all local and interurban public transportation in a large region of northern Indiana. Streetcars existed in Elkhart between 1886 and 1931, and in Goshen between 1894 and 1928.
Official Web site of "The Interurban Trolley", unfortunately using fake trolleys in Elkhart and Goshen.
Some historic information is from "Northern Indiana Railway", The Central Electric Railfans' Association (CERA) Bulletin 132, by George K. Bradley.
