Materials: Worsted weight acrylic yarn, crochet hook size H

Gauge: Rounds 1-3 = 3 ¼"

Finished size: 7"

Ch 4, join with a sl st in the first ch to form a ring

Round 1: Ch 4 to count as the first dc and the first ch 1, (dc in the ring, ch 1) 7 times; join with a sl st to the third ch of the beginning ch 4.

Round 2: Sl st in the next ch-1 sp, ch 4 to count as the first dc and the first ch 1, (dc in the same ch-1 sp, ch 1) 3 times, skip next ch-1 sp, *dc in the next ch-1 sp, ch 1, (dc in the same ch-1 sp, ch 1) 3 times, skip next ch-1 sp* Repeat from * to * 2 times; join with a sl st to the third ch of the beginning ch 4.

Round 3: Sl st in the next ch-1 sp, sl st in the next dc, sl st in the next ch-1 sp, ch 3 to count as the first dc, work 5 more dc in the same ch-1 sp, ch 1, skip next ch-1 sp, (dc, ch 1) twice in the next ch-1 sp, skip next ch-1 sp, *6 dc in the next ch-1 sp, ch 1, skip next ch-1 sp, (dc, ch 1) twice in the next ch-1 sp, skip next ch-1 sp* Repeat from * to * 2 times; join with a sl st in the top of the beginning ch 3.

Round 4: Ch 3 to count as the first dc, dc in the same st as joining, 2 dc in each of the next 5 dc, skip next ch-1 sp, (sc, ch 2, sc) in the next ch-1 sp, skip next ch-1 sp, *2 dc in each of the next 6 dc, skip next ch-1 sp, (sc, ch 2, sc) in the next ch-1 sp, skip next ch-1 sp* Repeat from * to * 2 times; join with a sl st in the top of the beginning ch 3.

Round 5: Ch 4 to count as the first dc and the first ch 1, (dc in the next dc, ch 1) 10 times, dc in the next dc, sc in the next ch-2 sp, *(dc in the next dc, ch 1) 11 times, dc in the next dc, sc in the next ch-2 sp* Repeat from * to * 2 times; join with a sl st to the third ch of the beginning ch 4.

Round 6: (Sc in the next ch-1 sp, ch 2) 44 times; join with a sl st in the first dc.

Round 7: *(Sc in the next ch-2 sp, ch 2) 9 times, sc in the next ch-2 sp, ch 3, skip next ch-2 sp* Repeat from * to * 3 times; join with a sl st in the first sc.

Round 8: * Work 2 sc in each of the next 2 ch-2 spaces, 2 hdc in the next ch-2 sp, 2 dc in the next ch-2 sp, 5 trc in the next ch-2 sp, 2 dc in the next ch-2 sp, 2 hdc in the next ch-2 sp, 2 sc in each of the next 2 ch-2 spaces, sc in the next ch-3 sp* Repeat from * to * 3 times; join with a sl st in the first sc.

Round 9: Sc in each st around, working 3 sc in the center trc of each corner. Fasten off.
