Sunflower Scrunchie

Materials: About 1/2 ounce of worsted weight yarn, crochet hook size G (4.00 mm), 2" diameter ponytail elastic

Finished size: About 4" diameter

To make a puff st: (Yo, insert hook in indicated st and pull up a loop) 3 times, yo and pull through all 7 remaining loops on hook, ch 1 to lock

Round 1: Work an even number of sc around the ponytail elastic; join with a sl st in the first sc.

Round 2: Ch 1, sc in the same st as joining, ch 2, skip next sc, (sc in the next sc, ch 2, skip next sc) around; join with a sl st in the first sc.

Round 3: (Sl st in the next ch-2 sp, ch 3, puff st in the same ch-2 sp) around; join with a sl st in the first sl st. Fasten off. Weave in ends.
