This page has links to web pages made by organ recipients in memory of their donor. Not all recipients know who their donor was just as not all of the donor families know who the recipients are. For some recipients, not knowing is the best way to deal with the thoughts that one gets. For myself as well as the other people here, we had to say something and take some comfort by paying tribute to those who have given us so much.

This is Larry's story. He had his transplant done at Ohio State University where it is stripulated that donor communications do not use names or other pertinent information. This is the story of Melissa and Bridgett sent in by Melissa's mom Mary.
Here is a poem that Terri (a.k.a. Peach) wrote for her 11 year old liver donor. Read Ron's story (Adobe Acrobat Reader needed) as told in his own words. His donor was Pete, who's sister Lori can be found on the Donor Families page.
