The Four-Stroke Package Provides..
    • Tachometer -- 10 RPM resolution
    • Dual EGT -- for monitoring mixture
    • Dual CHT -- for monitoring of proper cooling.
    • Oil Pressure* -- 1 psi resolution to 99 psi
    • Oil Temperature* -- 1 deg F resolution
    • Coolant Temperature -- (Adv -W model)
    • Outside Air Temperature* -- ( Adv -A model)
    • Voltmeter -- 0.1 Volt resolution
    • Hour meter -- runs only when engine operating
    • Flight Timer -- includes alarm
    • Dual Auxiliary Inputs* -- variety of uses
    • Serial Channel Output -- Via Warning Light Output

      * Probe or sensor for this function not included in package price. The EIS uses the sensors for oil pressure and oil temperature that are factory installed on the Jabiru and Rotax 912/914 engines. Must be purchased for other engines.

Pictured above are the combination pages for the Advanced EIS -A. The combination pages for the advanced EIS -W are similar, but include the coolant temperature.

Other  Display Pages For the ADV EIS

4strpkg.gif (31791 bytes) Useful Extras
  • Pre-Wired Cables -- $30
  • Outside Air Temperature Probe -- $20
  • Bayonet Style CHT probes -- $24
  • Oil Pressure and Temperature senders -- (if required)
  • Fuel Flow -- (see below).
Options for the Auxiliary input
  • Fuel Level Probe -- Electronic capacitive type. No moving parts makes it easy to install. -- $85
  • Low Pressure Sensor -- 0-15psi range for fuel or coolant pressure. -- $35
  • Manifold Pressure Sensor -- $60
  • Outside Air Temperature -- (via Aux for -W)
Fuel Flow System Option -- $375

Includes a FloScan flow sending unit to provide:

  • Fuel Flow Rate (0.1 gph resolution)
  • Total Fuel Remaining
  • Time Until Empty
  • Low Fuel Warning
  • Fuel Pressure input (for Standard (2-stroke) models

The Fuel Flow option adds the fuel flow display page in addition to the 6 display pages which make up the EIS. This page displays the fuel flow rate, total fuel remaining, and the endurance (time until empty at the current flow rate). The endurance display is especially useful, as it eliminates the mental calculations required to convert fuel level into gallons, and gallons into time remaining. The Fuel Flow function also includes a user programmable calibration factor that allows you achieve an accuracy of 0.5% or better for all of these functions. This accuracy is unattainable with traditional fuel level sensing techniques.

The fuel flow option includes an extra display page as shown in the top figure. The fuel flow also shows up on the first combination page for the Advances -A model.
