Fun-ol-ogy: The study of having fun

Holidays are traditionally a time for group gatherings, festivities and fun. From January through December the calendar is full of exciting opportunities to celebrate. Each holiday, as it returns from year to year, brings opportunities for individual and cultural expression. How we celebrate a holiday defines who we are, what our values are, how we have developed and in what direction we are growing. I hope that by investigating the following pages you will experience different ways to celebrate familiar holidays, explore new holidays and gain a better understanding of the different cultural rites and rituals of those with whom we share our world.
