Ogre/GEV is a fantastic series of games put out by Steve Jackson Games. Ogre is a game of armored combat in the near future, typical tanks, infantry, etc., but with one important wrinkle; Ogres. An Ogre is a huge, cybernetic tank, with the firepower of a dozen tanks, and a lightning-smart AI running the show. No human weakness. No human frailty.

It’s a fairly simple and clean system. I’ve been playing it since it’s inception back in the 70s. Originally it was a hex-based game with counters, but it’s most recent incarnation is with miniatures, either played on a large (1 ½” hexes) map or on a miniature table.

JAN 03, 2003: I've added a document to the Rules section that is a compilation of all Ogre statistics in the Ogre Universe. I've also included my rules for the Chinese "Dragon" Ogres.
DEC 17, 2002: Apparently, I really like making these photos of life in the Last War. Added a new photo to the Last War Images section, a photo of Combine GEVs attacking from sea in North Africa.

DEC 03, 2002: Joined the OGRE Webring, and added a new photo to the Last War Images section.

The material presented here is my original creation, intended for use with the Ogre system from Steve Jackson Games. This material is not official and is not endorsed by Steve Jackson Games.
