BRAD KEELER

My name is Brad Keeler. I have over 25 years of performance experience, playing "all that music you never hear on the radio"! That would include Acoustic Blues, Piedmont Blues, Ragtime Blues, Jugband music, Jazz, Old-Time, Traditional music, Folk, Celtic music, Appalachian music, Bluegrass and originals.

INSTRUMENTS? I've got 'em!

I play fingerstyle and flatpick guitar, bottleneck slide guitar, lap dobro, mandolin, banjo, harmonica, jug, washboard and kazoo (not all at the same time!) At the 1999 Old-Time Music Championships in Dade City, FL, I came home with 1st place ribbons in the Flatpick Guitar, Fingerstyle Guitar and Dobro categories, as well as 2nd in Mandolin.

DISCOGRAPHY and BOOKING INFO

Brad's studio recording "38 STRINGS" was given a ****Four Star rating by JAM magazine (Oct., '97), and "SLASH PINE STOMP", released in August of '98 was reviewed by Dirty Linen magazine, stating "the continuity from the old blues to original material and back again is seamless. This is clearly not an easy thing to do, and Keeler's adeptness at writing in the old style illustrates his deep commitment to the traditions that he contines to celebrate."(Dirty Linen #82, June/July, '98)
Brad's 1999 recording, "Songs That You Don't Hear On The Radio", with accompanist Kim Roque is just that and features more "new, used and reconditioned Antique Music".
