The Lausanne Consultation on Jewish Evangelism (LCJE) brings together leaders in Jewish missions from all over the world. There are regional branches which cover North America, South America, Israel, Europe, South Africa, Australia/New Zealand, and Japan. The LCJE-NA, our North American branch, meets annually. The International Consultation meets every four or five years. The LCJE has a five-fold purpose:
Louis Goldberg, Arnold Fruchtenbaum, Moishe Rosen, Art Glasser, Dan Juster, Stuart Dauermann, Mitch Glaser, Susan Perlman, Wes Taber, David Brickner, Jim Melnick, Kai Kjaer-Hansen, Jay Sekulow, Elliot Klayman, Jim Sibley, Michael Rydelnik, Barry Rubin, Eliezer Maas, Rich Robinson, and other eminent leaders, scholars, and laborers in the field of Jewish ministry.
A Unique Forum
There is really no other organization like the LCJE. Our consultations provide a unique forum for leading thinkers in Jewish missions to come together to present useful and insightful missiological papers and to wrestle with the complex issues involved in Jewish work.
The LCJE is the only assembly providing fraternal interraction for leaders who represent the diversity found in the broad spectrum of Jewish ministry.
Why Become a Member?
Joining the LCJE expresses in a concrete way your solidarity with others especially those beyond your usual ministry circles who share your concern for the salvation of the Jewish people. If you are a congregational leader, writer, scholar, or missionary involved in Jewish-oriented ministry, you should be an LCJE member. If your congregation or agency is involved in Jewish outreach, it should become part of the LCJE.
Joining the LCJE entitles you to receive the LCJE Bulletin, allows you to participate in the North American and International Consultations, and connects you to this extraordinary world-wide network of Jewish missions.
To join, you need to agree to the Lausanne Covenant (a broadly evangelical statement of basic doctrine and belief in the need to preach the gospel), pay some dues ($25 per year for individuals; society and congregational membership is pro-rated according to size), and have the recommendation of two current members (we can help you find two in your area).
