2001 LCJE-NA Conference

The 2001 North American LCJE conference will be held in Los Angeles, CA, March 12-14 (from 1 p.m. Monday to 4 p.m. Wednesday). This is a unique forum for messianic congregational leaders, scholars, mission’s leaders and others involved in Jewish outreach to come together to learn, contribute, think through issues which touch on our call to the Jewish people and to encourage.

As we did last year, there will be a special pre-conference session for the Young Leaders (20-30 somethings) on Sunday, March 11, 3-5:30 pm. with dinner and fellowship to follow. Check the appropriate line on the registration form to indicate that you will attend that session.

To participate in the conference, you must register with both (a) the LCJE-NA Coordinator and (b) the hotel. So here goes!

1. To reserve a room, contact the Holiday Inn Los Angeles International Airport at 1-800-624-0025. Or use the enclosed Express Reservation Form. Simply fill it out and mail or fax it to the Holiday Inn. If you phone, tell them you are with LCJENA and receive the special rate of $95/night (single or double). A block of rooms is being held until February 19, 2001 under these arrangements. Your reservations under LCJENA will also defray the costs of our meeting room, so don’t forget to mention our name!

2. When you arrive by plane into LAX, use the free 24-hour shuttle service to the Holiday Inn from the Ground Transportation area at the airport. (There are several Holiday Inns in the area, so be sure that you ask for the one at 9901 LaCienega Blvd).

3. To register for the conference, (click here for registration form) send the “LCJE-NA 2001 Conference Registration Form” to me (Theresa Newell, 256 Thorn Street, Sewickley, PA 15143) with your conference registration fee. (Notice that LCJE members get a break on the fee). Also note the late fee which will apply after January 31, 2001.
