WELCOME TO THE NEW WEBSITE FOR THE NEDAA!
RECENT NEWS:
Hello and welcome to the NEDAA website. During the past year, we've been working to improve and expand our programming to support our mission of support for the active membership of the Northeast District of Kappa Kappa Psi and Tau Beta Sigma and the bands which they serve.
JOIN THE MESSAGE BOARD!
In order to improve communication between members, we've created a message board on Yahoo! Groups. If you are interested in being a part of that list (where alumni can communicate year round rather than only in the springtime) please email Lansing Dimon [ President] or Kathryn Garrett [Vice President -TBS] to be added to the list.
During this past year, we've included several initiatives designed to increase alumni and active participation. For those who wish to continue playing and performing after college, we have researched and included on this site a listing of over 50 community bands, senior drum corps and other performing organiztions open to college age members and older within our district. Please check out the Links Page for those resources.
For those of you who wish to keep on serving after your college years, this is the place for YOU. Please contact any officer with questions or comments.

UPCOMING INFORMATION - NATIONAL CONVENTION:

The NEDAA sponsors several grants for members of the Northeast District who are interested in traveling to National Convention and the National Intercollegiate Band. The NEDAA supports four $100 grants for brothers and sisters: two for a brother and a sister for the NIB, and two for a brother and a sister to travel to National Convention.
Grants are selected based on essay submissions from interested brothers and sisters. We are currently in the process of selecting an essay topic, and plan on announcing the essay topics in early May. Essays will be due before the June 1st registration deadline for National Convention. Winning entries will be announced by the end of June.
