This is the shortest chapter from the book Smorgasbord.
Dining In Please
You've progressively gone from the cheapest brand of cat food to
"Kitty Cordon Bleu." "How did this Happen?" you ask yourself. When you
got him, Smorgasbord was so happy with the 25-cent brand, but one day
you thought you'd buy him " Just a little treat" - if you had only known.
Of course, he absolutely loved "Yum Tum." The next day - back to "Hum
Drum" brand, and "Mr. Finicky" absolutely hated it. He sniffed it, and
then put his butt toward it. He refused to eat it at breakfast; he refused
to eat it at dinner. Surely, he'd forget the whole thing the next day
- but no, he refused again.
Fearing your Kitty cat was losing weight, you stocked your shelves
with "Yum Tum" . . . and your cat gained weight forever after.
