If that passage was a bit too profound for the reader,,how about the Fab Four version: "Well she
was just seventeen, and you know what I mean; And the way she looked was way beyond
compare. Now how could I dance with another, Oh,,when I saw her standing there."
(The Beatles,,I Saw Her Standing There)
When the game of Chess arrived in Europe during the 1100's, the French renamed the figure of the Queen, "La Fil" meaning both young girl,and also a virgin, with the added connotation of "Fierce"! The number of the Celestial Queen figure's total "apparent" front/side facets is 8+9=17. Unlike the predominant number found in the King figure of 40, which has so many gematric associations, the Queen's are a lot more obscure, rare, and mysterious, just like a fine gem should be.
One of the most interesting features of this
figure, is that it's "apparent" mode of facets, is
the same as its "actual" number only doubled in
this case to 34. This value is the line total of the
magic square of Jupiter-4, and that is also a clue
to the figure's gematric associations, but in
another form called the "Vesica". This is the oval
shape of two intersecting circles or spheres
touching at their centers, containing a diamond
form within it, which in algebraic terms is the
square root of 3 ratio or, 1/1.732, in its width and
height. A more familiar name for this form is the,
"Sign of the Fish". So where's this fish then?

Another visualization of this form is that of 16 smaller vesicas, (sort of like a fish's scales) contained within a larger 17th. That is the fundamental principal of the Celestial Queen, "Containment". There are many ways of expressing this concept of containment and this is what will be explored in the gematric expressions of the figure. For starters, there is the 2nd. Hexagram of K'un-The Receptive which by associative interpretation means, a Receptacle of any kind. There are many variant forms for expressing this concept, and the one that is probably most familiar to the reader would probably be that of an "Ark or Boat", or in the case of a geometric function, an "Arc"of a compass. Another concept is that of a Womb, found in the variant term, "ARGHA" which has the Greek gematric value of 113. To complete the gematric phrase of this figure, the Greek word "Parthenos"-Virgin, of value 515 is added, which totaled is, 628. With the additional colel, this phrase becomes, "Argha Parthenos-Virgin Womb"- 629, or 17 x 37. Perhaps the beginning passage from the Orphic Hymns I quoted above, makes a little more sense to the reader now.
If the "actual" facet total is used in this equation, 34 x 37 gives the width of a vesica 1258, and a length of 1258 x 1.732 =2178.9. John Michell gives the number 2178 two distinctive gematric Greek phrases which should be familiar to many in his book, "City of Revelation". The first is, (please excuse my lack of a Greek font for now), "Eispolytimos Magyarths"-One Pearl of Great Price, and "H'Xibotos Ths DiaThhxhs"-Ark of the Covenant. Now I may be digressing off the topic for a moment, but when I think about all of the people on this planet who have been searching for this most fabulous of all treasures, and who have left no stone unturned in their efforts to locate it in some remote region or hideaway on this planet and have come up empty handed every time, I just have to laugh. Seems to me the only place they never thought to look for it, was under that "rock" inside their own heads! Not that some them didn't make a lot of money in the process of their scavenger hunts by selling colorful travelogue books of their adventures on this heroic quest, but that wasn't what they were really after,,, Or Was It! So just what was this mysterious object anyhow? Some have speculated it as being a weapon of great destruction which made the ancient Israelites indestructible in battle, like a Nicola Tesla death ray machine. Others have imagined it to be some sort of high tech communicational device to talk to God with. For the more practical minded, the Ark was just what is was stated to be, a sacred container for the tablets of Law received by the prophet Moses, way back when.
I'm not going to be critical toward any of these people in their speculations simply because they each have a valid point in this case. The mind (another type of container, usually empty!) can be a dangerous weapon at times, and yes people do talk to God with it in whatever manner they think appropriate, i.e., prayer, meditation etc. For me, the proverbial "Ark" is simply a functional focal point for the common denominator of humanity. Something that people have a common interest in and can agree upon as important to the well being of not only humanity but of the entire Earth as well. When people can reach a common agreement on such matters, the principal of a "Covenant" can be established. When they can't, well then the "Receptacle" usually winds up being destroyed. This has many profound implications, in that the entire Earth is a "Receptacle" as well. The Covenant's form is just another "Arch"-etypal symbol in this case, and the Bible has a few historic examples of those such as the "Rainbow Arc"of Noah's era, and the "Ark or Chest" of Moses' era. In the last historic instance of the person known as "Jesus", another Covenant was suppose to be established in his very physical being, as the primary motive of his enigmatic mission as a "Savior". In retrospect to the passing Age of Pisces of which he was its primary representative, it doesn't always appear too obvious as to the successfulness of this mission. Not that I regard this as any failure on his part, but rather due to all of the thousands, or millions of people with differences of perception and opinion concerning him, with more and more being added each day including my own, perhaps.
Getting back to the subject of the Celestial Queen, another gematric association to the facet total of 17, is its decimal fractional variant, 1.7, which when multiplied by the term "Argha"-Womb, of 113, generates the gematric total of the Greek name, "Mariam"-192, a common variant name for Mary, Mother of Jesus. This might perhaps start to clear up a few loose ends concerning that "Miraculous" birth bit of "Jesus" from a "Virgin"s Womb", hopefully. No? Well then how about this gematric phrase, "Miriam"-192 + "Theotokos"-God Bearer-1474 =1666. With the deletion of the colel, this value becomes 1665, another multiple of the Saturn-3 square sum of (1-9=45) x 37, that equates it to the value of the phrase, "To Pneuma Ths Ghs"-The Spirit of the Earth. John Michell references this value as being found in the ground plan of the ancient site of the historic first Christian Church in Glastonbury, England, in his book "City of Revelation". It's design and construction was performed by the use of an ancient measurement unit of great antiquity renamed the Megalithic Yard of 2.72 English feet, when it was discovered by Prof. A. Thom. This measure was in use in the construction of many earlier ancient sites of worship such as Stonehenge and similar structures all over the world. The original foundation structure of this church was circular in form with an area total of 1665 sq. MY's. As time passed, this original structure was enlarged but it still contained the original site plan and dedication scheme as shown in the next graphic. During the later centuries of construction, the original site became known as the "Chapel of Mary" when Glastonbury Abby was built in the 800's. The ground plan was then extended on the same theme as a dimensional multiple of 16 x 1665, totaling 26645 sq. MY's.. The layout in this case was in English feet as a 296 x 666 ft. rectangle ground plan.. This theme is consistent with the dedicated idea of the Fertility of the Earth by the Sun, as 296 is the Hebraic gematric value of Haretz-Earth. This new dimensional value of 26645 MY's in turn, equates to a multiple of 72 x 37=2664, which is the product of the apparent front/side facets of the Celestial Queen as 8x9=72 multiplied by the Sun sq. unit 37.
This summation of the product value 72 found in
the Celestial Queen has another correlation in the
ancient Egyptian cosmological religion relating it
to Isis and Osiris. That these two entities were
related to Christ and Mary is pretty well known to
some as just another variation on the same theme
of "Birth, Death and Resurrection", a few
millennium previous to the Christian era. In this
cosmic myth, a battle takes place between Osiris
and a conspirator group of 72 entities led by Set,
brother of Osiris, resulting in the death of Osiris
by being cut into either 12 or 13 pieces and
scattered throughout the realm. Isis, the wife of
Osiris, aided by the Solar Hawk entity Horus,
sometimes referred to as their Son, recover all of his body pieces just long enough for a
conception and later rebirth of Osiris in Isis' womb. This myth, as it turns out, has a lot to do
with the Great Year processional equinox cycle of appx. 25,920 Solar Years divided into the 12
Platonic months of 2160 years each. Interestingly, this cycle can be divided into a pentagram
section of 72 degrees totaling 5184 yrs .each, which is also 72 sq. The Great Year can also be
seen as the square of 161, with the addition of one year totaling 25,921. This number in turn, is a
Pythagorean right triangle as 72 sq. + 144 sq.=161 sq-1. The sum of 72 yrs. is representational of
a human lifetime, but only one degree of this grand Celestial circumference cycle of 360 degrees.
The reader may recall the beginning demonstration of the Chinese yarrow stalk oracle used to generate the 2nd. hexagram of K'un-The Receptive requiring 144 or 12 sq. stalks to produce. The value 144 or 2 x 72, is very prominent in the apocryphal book of Revelation as a number value indicative of the church, saints or martyrs of Jesus as applicable. These values are all correlation factors in the celestial dynamics of our Solar System in this case, so it should be no surprise to find their use in divination systems, or in our current measurement unit systems either. The Platonic month of 2160 years in this case, is also the diameter of the Moon in miles. The Great Year of 25,920 Solar years, can also be expressed as 26,640 Lunar years in the next equation: (25,920/26,640) x (365.25 days/12 mo) = 29.6 days per month, which is only off by a couple of hrs .per the current established synodic rotation period of 29.53 days. Again, the value 296 is just the whole integer factor in this gematric theme, relating it back to the Hebraic notational value of "Haretz"-Earth. This last equation may have gotten the reader's head spinning out of orbit a bit perhaps, so I think I'll just end this section of the Celestial Queen for now right here. (Foot hits the brakes,,,screeech!) Say, before I leave this section, what do you suppose would happen if we got this Celestial King and Queen acquainted somehow, Hmm? Let's find out!
The Celestial Ring Ceremony
The Ring has to be the most common symbol of the Covenant of Marriage, since Day 1, of
Creation, as I recall. Most ancient cosmologies usually start with this symbol of a circle,
(sometimes an Egg, Head, etc.), either singularly or intertwined as in the case of the Vesica
symbol previously described. So for the purpose of this Ceremony, to procreate the remainder
of the Celestial Chesswork's figure's interpretations to come, I will use for this Ring/circle
measurement, the product multiples of the apparent front/side ratio of the Celestial King and
Queen, as a joined diameter value totaling, 364+72=436. The circumference of a Ring/circle
with this diameter is then, 1369 in whole numbers, which is also the Solar sq. unit 37, squared.
This is interesting when one thinks about it long enough. As I said in the beginning of this
presentation: "A holistic work of art should have all of the information content found in its
individual parts, as well as its entirety as a whole. This is something of a paradox, in that the
processes or equations used to describe this design's features and interpretation, are also the
design's created processes and equations used to describe itself. Somewhat like the principal of
embedding the functional operatives of a computer code into its language used to construct that
same code. That has never been done before successfully, because to do so would be the
equivalent of creating a machine with an independent self replicating life of its own. Hmm! The
famous artist Escher used this recursive generative principal a lot in his artworks, such as the
"Hand drawing the Hand" print which should be familiar to many. In any case, I'll use this
paradox of the "Creation of the Circle" of Solar magic square unit-37 squared, and the 37th.
Hexagram of "The Family", as the foundational principal of the opening act of Creation,
described by many ancient cultures as, "Let there be Light!"
Fusion of The Celestial King and Queen as One
In her opus tome, "The Secret Doctrine", Mme. H.P. Blavatsky, a renown Russian mystic of the
previous century, described an alleged Tibetan account of the creation of the Universe found in a
mysterious treatise called, "The Book of Dyzan". The third stanza of this book states,
"Father/Mother spin a web, whose upper end is fastened to "Spirit-Light of the One Darkness,
and the lower one to its shadowy end Matter; and this is the Universe, spun out of the two
substances, made One." This cryptic passage has a unique correlation to the figure's of the King
and Queen of Celestial Chessworks in the union of the face values of these figures as King-26 +
Queen-9 = 35. When this value is multiplied by the Solar unit 37, the product is 1295. With the
addition of the colel this becomes 1296, which is the fourth exponent factor of 6, and also relates
to the half dome of the Celestial Vault overhead as, 12,960 is also 6 Platonic months of 2160 yrs.
Three Greek gematric phrases that equate to this value follow: "Pneuma"-Spirit 576 + "Nous"-Mind 720 =1296, "Parthenos"-Virgin 515 + "Sophia"-Wisdom 781 = 1296. This phrase relates
to a cryptic passage pertaining to the "Grail" legends as, "If to Celestial heights, Thou dost thyself
uplift, With shining eyes thou wilt behold, the Temple of Sophia". The last phrase is, "Viae"-Way, 416 + "Alethia"-Truth 64 + "Zoe"-Life 815 + 1= 1296. This one should be familiar to
many as a metaphor of "Jesus" as found in the New Testament of John 14:6. So without further
ado,,,
