THE CAR
{5.14.03 W }

Here are some pictures of my car. I've taken really good care of it as it almost has 300k miles. The engine has been replaced with a DOHC ZC 1.6L engine from Japan. I paid roughly 300 dollars for the engine almost 7 years ago and it has ran flawlessly since. Putting it in was a pain! The car is a 1990 Honda Civic Hatchback, originally a standard 70hp model.

Shown above here are some old random pics.

Above is a recent picture of the car. The paint is in great condition!

This shows the turbocharger project that was recently completed. This project was extremely difficult, took almost 3 years (including research, obtaining money, and actually building and installing it) and a final 2 months of sweat and aggravation. All things considered it has been extremely rewarding and one heck of a learning experience.

Giant lizards are always a problem in Florida, but because I spent about 10 hours a day for a couple weeks on the driveway working on the project, they became my friends. Another problem was the cold at night due to me working on the car during winter, which as shown gets cold!

Here is a short list of the extensive modifcations this car has undergone:

  • 1595cc DOHC (Dual Overhead Cam) ZC Honda Engine - 130-140hp stock.
  • 5 Speed 1991 Honda Civic Si Transmission (used to be a 4 speed model).
