SIÂN HATTON LTCL, ALCM
Born in Tredegar, Gwent, Siân is a graduate of the Welsh College of
Music and Drama, studied singing under the tuition of Margaret Tann-Williams.
She is also a talented accompanist having received piano tuition from Patrick
Pigggott.
Since graduating she has toured extensively in Britain as a vocal soloist
and has sung under the baton of both Arthur Davidson and Sir Harry Mortimer.
She is a licentiate of Trinity College, London and an Associate of the London
College of Music.
Siân was appointed Musical Director of the Caldicot
Male Voice Choir in 1988, and has taken the choir to a variety of venues
including Waghausel in Germany,Holland, Canada and California.
Despite her musical training Siân now pursues a very different career
as a Registered Nurse and has worked in many fields including intensive care
and nursing the elderly.

SHIRLEY ANN JAMES
Born and bred in Llandovery, Shirley Ann went on to spend three years at the South Glamorgan Institute of Higher Education in Cardiff to study music before moving to Chatham to begin a Teaching career. After three years she returned to her roots, taking up a Teaching post in Talley, Carmarthenshire.There she was appointed Conductor of the Llandovery Male Voice Choir for six years. Shirley Ann has also conducted the South Glamorgan Junior Schools Choir from 1990-1993, before becoming the mother of two children, she now lives in Llandaff and Teaches in the Llanrumney area of Cardiff.
Shirley Ann was appointed Assistant Musical Director of the Caldicot
Male Voice Choir in 2002. The Choir was pleased to welcome Shirley Ann to their ranks and has now settled down to be part of our talented musical team.
