Rotaract is an organisation open to all 18 to 30 year olds, male and female, with no political or religious ties.

There are 5 Rotaract clubs in our District, over 200 in Britain, and more than 6,000 in the whole world. Each club organises its own social activities, which could just be a trip down the pub, ten-pin bowling, or maybe a meal, a theatre trip, or even a holiday abroad!

We also find time to raise funds for charities, and occasionally help out in the local community through activities such as gardening, marshalling or helping the elderly.

The Clubs in the District regularly get together for a "District Event". This can be a theme disco, a quiz night, a dinner or ball - look at our District Diary to see what we get up to. With over 100 Rotaractors & Rotaservers in our district, you get the opportunity to make a lot of new friends.

Some of the members of each club form a committee to help run things. This, and other events we run, can help your personal development - being a Rotaractor certainly looks good on your CV.

Rotaract helps you, helps others, enhances your social circle and is fun! So, find your local club and E-mail them for more information. If you don't live in our District or even our country, our links page should help you.
