Catholic Catechist

In the fall of 1998 I answered the call to become a catechist. My son was entering the program and I strongly believe in parental involvement. If parents aren't willing to volunteer, why should anyone? Our parish is blessed with a great DRE but I always wanted ideas when the office was closed, so I turned to my favorite medium, e-mail, and started the Catechist email list We are a group of teachers talking about teaching. We discuss methods and materials, tricks and tips. We are a pat on the back and a shoulder to cry on. We do not debate or seriously discuss doctrine so it remains a friendly place where many feel welcome. To join us click on the link above.
