Picture of Chris

Hi everyone!! My name is Christine and I live in a suburb of Pittsburgh, PA. I am happily married to a wonderful man named Duane. We have one son named Kevin, who is a great joy!

If you'd like to read about the Pittsburgh area, here are some links to our local television stations.  KDKA-TV2 is our local CBS affiliate. Our ABC affiliate is WTAE-TV4.  You can actually see Pittsburgh, through the eyes of WTAE's Action Cam.  Or take a look at the City through Tower Cam.  This camera is positioned at the top of the television tower for WPXI-TV, our NBC affiliate. Try one of our local newspaper's The Tribune Review.

For those of you who enjoy the thrill of a good roller coaster ride, check out our local amusement park, Kennywood Park

Animated Hummingbird

This is Kevin. He is 15 years old and is in the 10th grade. He plays the trumpet for his High School Marching Band, likes to golf and is a Lt. (j.g.) with the NJROTC. We are very proud of him for the things he has accomplished so far in his short life. I know he will grow up to be a very caring person. I've added a few small pictures of Kevin even though he is embarrassed that I did! :-)

If you want to learn more about Kevin and his variety of pets, check out his page below.

Kevin has brought joy and love into so many lives. He isn't often "down" in his spirits because he is such a kind hearted and warm person. Many friends and collegues have commented on how much Kevin smiles and laughs. He smiles even during some of his "rough" times. He has never been one to complain. I don't know how or where he got this charismatic quality but he is certainly blessed with it. Help find a lost child......

Call 1-800-THE-LOST if you see this child.

I would fall apart if something ever happened to him!! My greatest fear in life would be to lose him. Many families have had this fear come true. My heart goes out to them. I thought I would try to do my part.....by adding a link to help these unfortunate families. Please..... do your part too....and keep a watchful eye out when you see pictures or posters of missing children! Who knows....someday you may just see that child on the milk carton....or poster....or television........

My Favorite "Big Guy"!!

My husband is a police officer for the town that we live in. I am very proud of him. He is a very sweet and gentle man. He always has the welfare of other people in mind. He can be "tough" at times....just ask Kevin! How well he knows! If you'd like to read more about Duane's interests, check out his page below.

For those of you who live in a family with law enforcement officers, I'm sure you are well aware of the "special needs" and sacrifices that we go through. Our loved ones put their lives on the line on a daily basis. We as family members need to understand them and help them in ways that we can. It is not always an easy thing to do. Many holidays, special occasions and just lazy days have gone by without our significant other being there due to their work schedules. Many kids all over the nation have had special events go by without their Mommy or Daddy (whichever the case may be) being there to see it. These kids, spouses and family members go through a great sacrifice in loving their LEO's. We have to remember, our sacrifice is minute to the one that our loved one chose!
