Reiki Classes

Reiki is a Japanese word meaning "universal life force" or more specifically, "spiritually guided universal life energy"

The practice of Reiki healing is incredibly easy! It is a simple and powerful laying-on of hands technique that can be learned by anyone. Reiki is a gentle yet amazingly effective method for connecting this universal healing life energy with the body's innate powers of healing on the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual levels. The ability to use it is passed from the teacher to the student through a simple ritual called an "attunement". This "tunes in" students to the specific Reiki energy frequency, increasing their innate ability for healing self and others dramatically. It literally increases both giver's and receiver's life force.

Benefits of Reiki include:  pain relief, deep relaxation, stress reduction, promotion of recovery from illness or injury, and healing on the emotional level. It has been effective in helping treat virtually every malady, working along with other therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery.

In Reiki I,   students receive the first attunement, learn about the updated history and uses of Reiki, the chakras (the energy centers of our bodies), and scanning for problem areas. Time is included to practice hand positions on a volunteer, and to receive a Reiki treatment.

Class may be held in one full day or two evenings of instruction. Fee: $100.

In Reiki II, students receive the second attunement which helps to clear their energy bodies even further, especially on the emotional level, enabling them to "tune in" more strongly to the universal healing energy. They also learn the first three sacred Reiki symbols. The first acts like a "light switch" to strongly connect and focus Reiki energy and provide protection. The second is used for emotional clearing, cleansing of spaces, and dealing with addictions. The third enables the practitioner to send Reiki healing energy at a distance.

Class may be held in one full day or two evenings of instruction. Fee:  $150.

In Reiki Master training, students learn two more sacred symbols and are trained in increasing their intuitive awareness and  passing attunements and teaching Reiki in an ongoing apprenticeship. Fee: $400.
