The ESC (Educational Software Co-operative) is a non-profit corporation bringing together developers, publishers, distributors and users of educational software. |
ESC goals are "To advance the mutual benefit of authors, publishers, dealers and distributors of educational software; to voluntarily co-operate formally and informally with each other to better develop, advertise, distribute and sell our educational software; to provide the public with information regarding the benefits, uses, and availability of educational software." |
Anyone who has an interest in ESC's goals is welcome to join. For more information about joining send your inquiry by email to info@edu-soft.org. If you are genuinely interested in Educational Software then why not think about joining the ESC? You do not have to write (or sell) educational software. Many members do distribute software through shareware or other "try before you buy" methods. However, it is not specifically a shareware organisation. Some members sell software through on-lines sales, mail-order, stores, and other retail channels. Others are consultants, online providers, teachers, and parents. |
