Radio control and R/C or RC clubs located in Omaha, Nebraska, Ne. AMA and IMAA chartered club. We are located in Omaha, Millard area, flying at Springfield and Mead. We fly r/c airplanes and aircraft. Scale, Semi scale, warbirds, civilian and sport planes. We are located near Lincoln, Omaha, Council Bluff, Bellevue, Papillion, Ralston, Elkhorn, Fremont, Valley Nebraska. We hold an annual R/C auction, planes boats, cars, radios, engines, mufflers and accessories. Local flying fields and r/c airports are located in Springfield and Mead. Other local clubs include the Omahawks, Lincoln Sky Knights, Performance Flyers, The field, The Corbras or Cobra's, Bud's hobby and Hobby town hobby shops in omaha. We fly Great Planes, Sig, Dynaflite, Top Flite and other kits and ARF's. We have kit builders, Scratch model building and ARF builders and flyers. Miniature to Giant scale model airplanes are built and flying. We have many flyers with interest in P-47, P-51, P-39, R/C warbirds, Mustangs to Thunderbolts Cessna and Beechcraft to Piper Cub. Although not many fly pattern airplanes, we have a few. Also we hold quikee 500 or Pylon races and racing throughout the summer. Some of our crew love to build and fly Oldtimers or Old-Timers airplanes that qualify for SAM events. quarter scale, giant scale are flown at Mead, with our IMAA club, the 284 aero squadron giant scale club. Located in eastern nebraska we are very close to the Omaha and Lincoln metropolitan area. Many of our model airplanes have retractable landing gear and scale flaps. Some with smoke.
