Like mother like daughter!
Darling baby Evie pictured above with her lovely Champion dam Jacquet's Madam Butterfly Aboxa aka "Fanny" who can be seen at this link here.
Evie is from Fanny's first litter, sired by our home bred boy Aboxa's Elvis de Jacquet. This breeding also produced litter mate Champion Jacquet's Bon Jovi of Aboxa. A repeat breeding produced another stunning male Jacquet's Sting of Aboxa.
It was a very proud day indeed for Aboxa Boxers when Evie won her Am-Bred class at the American Boxer Club 1995 National Specialty Show at the tender age of 15 months old!
Evie went on to take numerous exciting wins, earning 8 points towards her championship. Unfortunately, conflicting handler's agendas combined with personal circumstances prevented her from finishing. However, Evie's outstanding qualities, movement and showmanship are still apparent to judges in her senior years where she has excelled owner handled in Veteran classes at selective Boxer Specialty shows.
Back to Back Specialty Wins
Pictured above Evie taking Best Veteran & Best of Opposite Sex at 9 1/2 years old, owner handled at the 2003 NJBC Specialty Show. She repeated both these wins the next day at the NYBC Specialty held at the prestigious Westchester Kennel Club show.
Flash! Evie won the 10yr.old+ Veteran classes owner handled at the Potomac Boxer Club Specialty and at the American Boxer Club Regional under breeder judges Sandy Orr & John Connolly.
