The actors listed are dependable for the quality of their performances in classics and new work with such London and regional companies as the Royal National Theatre, Royal Shakespeare Company, Peter Hall Company, Almeida, Birmingham Repertory Theatre, Manchester Royal Exchange, Sheffield Crucible, West Yorkshire Playhouse, and, in Scotland, Dundee Repertory Theatre, Edinburgh's Royal Lyceum and Traverse, and, in particular, the Glasgow Citizens Theatre.
