The Lost World

Beginning in September, 1999, The Lost World will present the first complete staged reading of Horton Foote's The Orphans' Home Cycle of nine plays, quite possibly the greatest single work of drama ever created for the American stage.

Presenting one play each month for nine consecutive months, the readings will feature a cast of professional actors drawn from all performance media. During the coming months, a complete cast will be announced for this mammoth undertaking, but actors already committed to the project include Hallie Foote, Shirley Knight, Peri Gilpin, Dan Butler and Cameron Watson. Watch this space, as the cast grows.
