Thanks for stopping in to have a look at my carvings.They're carved out of hickory for the most part.I collect the wood from trees on our ten acres in Oklahoma.We have oak of different kinds also, but I prefer hickory.It takes a little longer to carve but I really like the outcome.....Well enjoy the carvings .

I'm working on this carving now.I have about 12 hrs in it and it will take many more.There will be some sort of necklace and a lot of work left on the hair.The face is not really done yet either.
