Set up a portrait 4.25 x 5.5 book in AppleWorks:

1. File > Print Setup > Orientation: Landscape
2. Format > Document > Margins: Top: 1 in, Bottom: 1 in, Left: .90 in, Right: .90 in
3. Format > Section > Number of Columns: 2, Settings for all Columns: Column Width: 4.08 in, Space Between: 1.01 in
