16th January 2005:-
So,
2004. The year was dominated by the War of the Ring test, and that game I am pleased to say plays as well as any of its type and better than a vast number. An expansion kit is on the blocks presently.
But we played a lot of other games too, of which not very many stand out. Goa is obviously good but we ain't played yet.
Travelling Man recently opened a branch practically next-door to FanBoy3, Manchesters other game shop, and had really low prices. So I did the clever thing and cleaned them out of Confrontation and San Juan at 12 quid each! However there may be lessons to be learned here. Firstly, there's increasingly less point me placing on this site prices for games with any foreign text on components. So if you want 'em, you will need to ask in future, though that has always been the way since I cannot list everything, or even much of just the new output. I will be attempting to adhere to this policy over the coming months.
Secondly, the overall PROBLEM with playing games in this great country is that we pay a lot more for games than either our close German cousins or our even closer friends in America. This is particularly naughty in the case of games produced within the EU that are sent direct from Germany to the UK.
StabCon 2005 was nice, we all seemed to be sitting in the exact same positions as last year! If you are one of those I played WotR with, please say hello!

I have a number of new, wrapped games here I would like to unload at lower than usual prices, let me know if you are interested.

THE INSTRUCTIONS: Email me with games required, I send them, then I bill, you send a cheque thereafter, made out to me, A DAGLISH. Games are German editions.

Ideal order comprises a list of games required and a postal address to

aforandy@uwclub.net

which is the new broadband address.
You can use
aforandy@aol.com for a while, but occasionally incoming emails are blocked.

I may occasionally look at
aforandi@hotmail.com

Every delivery has a black & gold vinyl return address label which serves as cheque payment information.
Its best to open packs by peeling off the brown tape, of which there will be a lot.

Postage rates are shown on
www.royalmail.com
Recent changes mean that most orders will now fall into the 8 pound 2-4kg range. 1-2kg is charged at 4 pounds.
