This association was organized for the purpose of changing the image of goats for the better; to bring together all goat people; to improve the quality of goats; to improve the care and lives of goats; to educate the members and the public; to develop new markets for all goat products; to hold shows and advance the goats; and to bolster the economics of goat breeders everywhere by working together to promote animal health, products, laws and legislation.

Any person 18 years or older can become a member of AGA. Membership dues are $6 per person, or $10 per couple. The business year and dues run from January 1st through December 31st. In the event of a new member joining September 1st through December 31st their membership shall be carried through the following year.  Membership also includes a montly newsletter.

We hold our meetings the first Sunday of each month and we always try to include an educational program of some kind. If you would like a membership application please contact our Secretary or President and we will be happy to send one out to you.
