The K.I.S.S. Weave Trainer 

Having tried all the others, this is absolutely the best weave trainer I have used to teach a dog to weave.

The vertical poles of this weave trainer provide a TRUE CHANNEL EFFECT while maintaining the proper perspective of "really weaving".  The idea is that if the dog is trained with a device that consistently maintains the appearance of "really weaving"  it will learn the process faster. 

While the "V" trainers don't approximate a vertical-pole perspective until the end of training, and the "Containment Wire" trainers introduce another object (the wires) which confuses the dog's perspective of the apparatus   the K.I.S.S. Trainer teaches the dogs  to RUN straight along the centerline and through VERTICAL  poles from the first day of training.

Designed for success.   Every effort was made to make this trainer as easy for the dogs to do as possible....the base was kept small and unobtrusive....the stabilizers extend outward  opposite to the poles so they don't interfere with the dogs' feet...the base color was chosen as gray instead of white to minimize focus on the base....the poles are striped in such a way as to keep the dog looking forward instead of down, and they  can be reversed for better visibility by small dogs

The K.I.S.S. Weave Trainer  SCHOOL Version 

This version is designed for  use in schools where ease of use is important to allow maximum use of  time.    It is the same format as the  original KISS Weave Trainer above, but every joint is held together with stainless steel screws as well as glued AND the poles are screwed to the goosenecks to save time in the setup.... you just plug the pole/gooseneck-assemblies  into the base and begin your training!

  K.I.S.S. Weave Trainer---HIGH DRIVE

While the standard version is right for most dogs, certain large and very "high drive" dogs may require some special construction features.   Typical of these dogs are those who have learned to "bully" the poles out of their way instead of weaving through them. These  new features are available in the HIGH DRIVE Weave Trainer.   This version uses screw-together goosenecks rather than  friction-fit.   It also comes with 12 stabilizer bars , and the poles are anchored into the individual goosenecks.   The load-bearing parts of each section are screwed together as well as glued. The dimensions are the same as the standard version.

NOTE: Your weave trainer is designed to provide an affordable product to teach your dog to weave. However, one property of the plastic construction is that it can become brittle in cold weather.  While most folks use their Weave Trainers to train indoors during the cold months, if used outdoors below approximately 40-degrees, beware that the plastic connectors might break with the stress of an aggressive dog.
