Board Games

When I was 15, the only real gaming I had ever done was D&D. Lots of it, but that's about it. Then I met the guys who have remained my friends for over twenty years. We were in the school play together, and found that we had other similar interests as well. They invited me over one night to play a game which would be my introduction to "real" board games and a hobby that would stay with me forever. That game was Titan, by Avalon Hill. Now you know where I got my screen name. I was so blown away by Titan that night! What an unusual way to spend an evening. What cool components. What the hell time is it anyway? We've been playing how long!?

At heart, I'm a boardgamer. No matter how many hours I spent dedicated to making the perfect Magic:The Gathering decks, or admiring, modding, or playing with HeroClix, I will always be primarily a boardgamer.

Here are some excellent examples.
