Big Dougs
(Remember propellers?)
The "Big Dougs" shown here represent a tiny fraction of what's out there at an airport, museum, or aircraft boneyard near you. There's a few cropdusters, firefighters, freighters, unsightly hulks, and even an impounded drug-smuggler on this page. Some aircraft even maintain part of the paint jobs from their original operators, if you look close.
I am not an authority on Douglas aircraft of this era, so if you see any
