I've been riding-on and chasing MD-11s since 1990, and of course I always had a Nikon with me (at least one). Presented are a few pics I have shot along the way. If you want to see MD-11s, go to Zurich as that's the hot tip! ZRH has an excellent observation area that costs a mere 2Fr, complete with a restaraunt and bar (someplace to hide when it is cold and snowing).
I wont go into MD-11 specs or DC-10 differences as they can be found elsewhere on the web, even though I probably have the answers. This site is just for pics. The pictures are arranged in ascending order of production (fueslage number). McDonnell Douglas built 446 DC-10/KC-10 aircraft, and the MD-11 line started at #447.
