Departure...Now, picture you and your husband exiting through the crowd of well wishers to your awaiting carriage. You both pause for a moment for pictures and then proceed for a leisurely ride. What a relaxing time to catch your breath and enjoy the beginning of your life as "Mr. & Mrs."
Bridal Party...If you would like to have your whole bridal party or family join you in your celebration, why not include both Vis-A-Vis carriages or have a Vis-A-Vis and Hotel Surrey transport everyone for this special occasion. Our seasoned drivers and traffic safe horses would be honored to escort you in style.
...Invite your family and friends on a horse drawn carriage ride! With so many things going on just before your wedding, wouldn't it be fantastic to be able to sit back and let someone else do the entertaining for those relative and friends who visit from out of town? Our horse drawn carriages are available to accommodate as few as two or as many as 55 people.  Tips...
To insure that your wedding day is the best it can be, here are some tips for you to consider when hiring a Horse Drawn Carriage service...
 What are their policies in regards to time? Our policy is to not set a time limit as the day is quite structured already. Depending on your personal preference, we will pick up the bride and go to the church wait outside for pictures and proceed on to the reception. If you would prefer we can meet you at the church and go for picture and then on to the reception, or meet at your home/hotel and proceed on to the church.
What is the distance they will travel? The ideal distance to travel is within 3-4 miles.
Do they provide decorations or can you supply your own if you would like to have your bridal colors instead of theirs? Our carriages are decorated with burgundy floral bouquets behind the driver on both sides of the carriage. But we would be delighted to decorate the carriage in your colors should you decide to supply the decorations.
Can you set up an appointment to see the horses and carriages? We recommend that you set up an appointment to see the horses and carriages. It will make it easier to decide if you would like the Vis-A-Vis or the Hotel Surrey.
Are the driver and footman dressed appropriately? Our driver and footman are formally attired. We pride ourselves in our neat and professional appearance.
Can you see pictures of previous events? (Remember a picture is worth a thousand words) While you are looking at the different pictures, notice if the driver and footman are neat in appearance...are the horses clean and standing still...is the carriage clean?
Discuss your photo options with both your carriage company and your photographer. Again pictures are worth a thousand words so make sure you have the perfect poses, locations, etc...the horse and carriage makes for a wonderful prop. Remember these photos are your memories of this beautiful day! You will want the best!
Do they provide a "Just Married" sign? Absolutely!!! Everyone should know that you are "Mr. & Mrs."
What if it rains? Is the carriage covered?This is an important question that is always an after thought. All of our carriages have covered tops and side curtains. The Vis-A-Vis carriages have a convertible top. The Hotel Surrey and Trolley Hitch Wagons have stationary tops.
